How I First Met Christine

I first met Christine when we were both guests on The Love Doc Podcast, hosted by Dr. Sarah Hensley, Specialized Social Psychologist, Attachment Theory Expert, and Founder & CEO of The Love Doc Relationship Coaching Services, with co-host Raina Butcher, Owner/CEO of Joyful Consulting. Christine went on right after me and even reviewed my divorce decree during her appearance. That connection was the beginning of a friendship and partnership in this fight for truth.

The Love Doc Podcast is where Dr. Hensley and Raina dive deep into the intricacies of love, attraction, attachment, relationships, and self-awareness. Dr. Hensley draws on her psychological research, real-life experiences, and professional expertise to help listeners navigate modern relationships with clarity and practical advice.

Who Is Christine Miller?

Christine is no ordinary guest. She spent over 15 years as a public defender and criminal attorney without a single bar complaint. But when she began speaking openly about the corruption, secrecy, and outright abuses taking place in family courts, the system turned on her. Judges retaliated. Doors closed. Yet Christine did not back down.

Instead, she created Judge-y.com, a judicial accountability platform that is soon to launch as an app. She also co-hosts The JudgeMental Podcast with Hugh Barrow, where they expose family court corruption and amplify the voices of parents and children who have been silenced for far too long.

The JudgeMental Podcast

The JudgeMental Podcast features two attorneys, Hugh and Christine, who bring over three decades of combined litigation experience to the mic. Together, they break down family court failures with clarity and courage — highlighting real cases, survivor stories, and systemic issues. Now, venturing into a bold new initiative with Judge-y, they aim to give lawyers, litigants, and court watchers a platform to evaluate judges and promote accountability within the judiciary. It’s raw, it’s honest, and it’s the kind of transparency the system fears. Be sure to follow and subscribe to their show for powerful conversations that matter.

Why Family Courts Are Failing Families

During our conversation, Christine broke down the many ways family courts are failing:

  • No accountability for judges — many operate with unchecked power.
  • No cameras in courtrooms — meaning no transparency, no oversight.
  • Custodial evaluators, GALs, and court-appointed professionals — often shielded by immunity while draining families financially.
  • The “best interest of the child” standard — applied inconsistently and often used as cover for decisions that devastate families.

Christine put it plainly: “You aren’t crazy — the system is.”

The Vision of Judge-y

The Judgy app will allow litigants, attorneys, and court watchers to anonymously review judges, creating a living database of judicial behavior. Imagine walking into court knowing what to expect — knowing how a judge has ruled in similar cases, or whether they have a reputation for fairness. That’s the kind of transparency Christine and her team are fighting for.

Christine’s Billboard: Judicial Accountability Is Coming

Christine’s fight for transparency isn’t confined to the courtroom or the podcast studio. She put her message on full display — literally. Her billboard campaign declares: “Judicial Accountability Is Coming.” It’s a bold reminder to families and to the judiciary itself that the days of secrecy are numbered. As Christine says, “If they want to call you crazy, fine. Show them what crazy can do.”

From Kentucky to California

Christine shared her perspective from both Kentucky and California, showing that this crisis is not local — it’s national. In Kentucky, cameras in courtrooms provide a level of oversight many states lack. In California, she witnessed firsthand how secrecy breeds corruption, with signs everywhere threatening people for recording inside court buildings.

Why This Conversation Matters

For too long, family courts have operated in the shadows, shielded from public scrutiny. Families are left bankrupt, silenced, and broken — while the system profits. Christine’s courage to speak out, even at great personal cost, is exactly what this movement needs.

Her message is a call to action: we must demand transparency, accountability, and reform. Parents are not powerless, and together, we can change the system.
